Interviewee Inez Storer (1933-) is a painter and mixed media artist who creates paintings and assemblages with magical realist and collage elements. Based in Inverness, California, she has taught at Sonoma State University and the San Francisco Art Institute.
Interviewer Griff Williams (1966-) is an artist and the founder of Gallery 16 in San Francisco.
This interview is part of the Archives of American Art Oral History Program, started in 1958 to document the history of the visual arts in the United States, primarily through interviews with artists, historians, dealers, critics and administrators.
