Interviewer Holly Barnet-Sanchez (1947- ) is an art historian, curator, and Associate Professor of Latin American and Chicano/a, Latino/a art history (emerita) at the University of New Mexico, Albuquerque. Interviewee Josh T. Franco (1985- ) is the National Collector at the Archives of American Art.

This interview is part of the Archives of American Art Oral History Program, started in 1958 to document the history of the visual arts in the United States, primarily through interviews with artists, historians, dealers, critics and administrators.
