Elia Alba (1962- ) is a photographer and multimedia artist based in Queens, New York. Known for her work that engages with questions of institutional acclaim, identity, building community across generations, Alba creates larger projects that draw on a variety of media to examine the historical power of the image.
Interviewer Sara Reisman (1972- ) is a curator and art historian based in New York City.
