Biographical/Historical Note
Eleanor "Brownie" Hibben (1898-1992) was a wildlife photographer and cinematographer. She was friends with Georgia O'Keeffe and lived in Albuqueque, New Mexico.
From 1919-1935 she was married to Arthur Pack; Pack purchased Ghost Ranch in 1933. She later was married to anthropologist Frank Cummings Hibben; in the 1950s they had a network television series. In 1983 she wote a book about their travel and lives, "In Outer Places: Adventures With Frank C. Hibben."
