Harold Weston organized Food for Freedom in 1943 for providing American aid to refugees in Europe and Asia. He served as Executive Director. Scattered documentation of the organization include clippings and other printed materials; correspondence; financial records from the early 1950s; a copy of a sermon delivered by Reverend A. Powell Davies from All Souls' Church in Washington, D.C. on November 10, 1946 entitled "Lest the Living Forget"; notes; organizational history; materials for a proposed book by Weston concerning Food for Freedom; and records of speeches given by Weston.
