The records of San Francisco's Gump's Gallery date from circa 1877-circa 1958 on 4 microfilm reels. Microfilm includes three albums containing photographs of old master paintings, portraits, and interiors of the gallery, and nine scrapbooks of gallery-related printed material.

Immediate Source of Acquisition
The collection was loaned to the Archives of American Art for microfilming on reels 1272 and 1286-1288 in 1980 by Helen Heninger, director of Gump's Gallery, and was returned to Heninger after filming.
