Summary: Most of the entries are from August 7 to December 24, 1822, including his life in New York, along the Hudson River near Boscobel, and the beginning of a boat trip to Cuba. Pen and ink drawings adorn the end papers.
Provenance
The Flushing Historical Society gave the diary to the Queens Borough Public Library around 1940.
