Found here are lectures and writings by Deem and other authors. Lectures were delivered in conjunction with Deem's teaching duties and when an artist-in-residence at various venues including Indianapolis Museum of Art, Evansville Museum of Arts and Science, Rutgers University, Illinois State University, Institute of Fine Arts at New York University, and Syracuse University. Deem's writings and poems are copies of published pieces that appeared in independent literary arts magazines such as Benzine and White Walls. They record Deem's impressions on painting, travels, and friends. Some pieces were co-authored by Ronald Vance. Also found are files of related correspondence, along with slide lists, notes, and printed material.
Writings by others include a typescript of a lecture by Charles Molesworth and Ronald Vance's rough translation of a published essay by Augustmoon Ochiisi describing her initial encounter with Deem.
