Correspondence with David Wallace and Charles Baker, editor for the New York Historical Society, relates to Groce's work on the DICTIONARY OF ARTISTS IN AMERICA, 1564-1860. Other material includes a draft of the introduction for the Dictionary (unfilmed), book reviews and articles by Groce, photographs, notes, engravings, and exhibition catalogs.
