Series 1: Glass Plate Negatives , circa 1890-circa 1901

Boxes 1-4

Glass plate negatives include ten images of Yandell in her studio, including two images of her with her statue Pallas Athena; one image of Yandell's studio; one image of Daniel Chester French, Elihu Vedder, and possibly Lorado Taft, with a model of French's Statute of the Republic for the World's Columbian Exposition; one image possibly also taken in Taft's studio with three unidentified individuals; and thirty-five images of works of art by Yandell, including busts, statues, a tankard, and Struggle of Life in progress and completed and installed in the Carrie Brown Memorial Fountain.
The negatives are of varying sizes including 5 x 7, 6.5 x 8.5, 7 x 9.5, and 9.5 x 12. Twelve original negative sleeves annotated with some identifying information are housed at the end of the series.
This series has been digitized in entirety.

Series 2: Reproduction and Photographic Prints , 1896, 1986

This series consist of photographic prints produced from the glass plate negatives in the collection and a reproduction of a notable 1826 advertisement produced for the Tennessee Centennial International Exposition using the glass plate negative image of Yandell standing with Pallas Athena.
Only the reproduction of the advertisement has been digitized from this series.
