Summary: A notebook entitled "Information about Walter Griffin, American Impressionist, 1861-1935," containing assorted pertinent material asssembled by Ellerton Jetté, including a twelve page biographical sketch of Griffin, letters to Griffin, honor and awards given Griffin, exhibition catalogs, and miscellany.
Provenance
The donor, Mrs. Rupert Lovejoy, and her husband were evidently Portland, Maine art collectors who were approached by Jetté regarding their Griffin paintings, while Jetté was assisting in the organization of a Griffin retrospective at the Vose Galleries of Boston.
