Peterson reflects upon her artistic activities, politics in the U.S., and her living conditions in Canada and Italy. Also included are a file on the Margaret Peterson Trust containing newsletters about the activities of the "Margaret Peterson Foundation," and 4 letters from Peterson.
Biographical/Historical Note
Peterson joined the faculty of the art department at the University of California, Berkeley in 1932. She resigned her post as Associate Professor in 1950, after having refused to take the special loyalty oath.d. 1997
