Elisabeth Zogbaum papers regarding Franz Kline, 1892-circa 2005, bulk 1930-1990

This series includes photographs of Franz Kline, Elisabeth Zogbaum, family, friends, artists, houses, studios, cars, artwork, exhibition installations, Japanese calligraphy, and other subjects. Most of the photographs are of Franz Kline and his art. Photographic prints are the dominant format, but there are also a few negatives, slides, and transparencies. There are several folders containing loose pages of what appears to be a disbound album of photographs of Franz Kline's early artwork and paintings from roughly 1936 to 1946.

Photographs of Franz Kline are at the beginning of the series, followed by photographs of others, then photographs of artwork, and finally photographs of other subjects.

The bulk of this series has been digitized, except for blank versos of photographs and duplicates. Also, the folder of photocopies (Box 7, folder 8) has not been digitized because the it contains assorted copies (with poor image quality) of digitized photographs that can be found in other folders in this series.
