This series consists of a wide range of biographical material about Franz Kline that either belonged to him, such as identifying documents or financial records, or appear to have been created by him, such as drawings. Franz Kline biographical material includes his passport, a copy of his will, three address books, biographical outlines, obituaries, miscellaneous health and financial records, high school yearbooks and varsity football certificate, military training camp material, insurance policies, assorted invoices and receipts, and real estate records. There are also drawings and sketches by Franz Kline and a few loose pages of a scrapbook of clippings from Kline's time at Lehighton High School and Girard College, which appears to have been put together by him or a family member. The series also includes some miscellany in the form of artwork by others.
This series is arranged alphabetically.
The bulk of this series has been digitized. Blank pages of the address books have not been digitized. Only selected pages that mention Franz Kline have been digitized from the high school yearbooks and military training camp publications.
