Summary: The Dorothy Zeidman photographs of works of art and exhibitions measures 4.0 linear feet and date from 1982-2003. The collection comprises approximately 9,000 black and white 4x5 negatives and a small number of color 4x5 transparencies. Zeidman photographed works of art and exhibitions for the Leo Castelli and Mary Boone Galleries, as well as for numerous other clients in the New York area. Artists represented include Roy Lichtenstein, Keith Sonnier, Bruce Nauman, Susan Rothenberg, Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, Joseph Kosuth, Dan Flavin, Donald Judd, Richard Serra, Richard Artschwager, Robert Therrien, Lawrence Weiner, Ed Ruscha, Ellsworth Kelly, Robert Morris, Jan Dibbets, Frank Stella, Andy Warhol, Louise Nevelson, Alan Saret, Cy Twombly, James Rosenquist, Robert Grosvenor, David Salle, Francesco Clemente, Sandro Chia, Terry Winters, Meyer Vaisman, Peter Schuyff, Miguel Barcelo, William Copley, Donald Lipski, and others. The collection also includes photographs of works on paper by Pierre Matisse commissioned by the Matisse family and scattered photographs of exhibitions in New York City museums.
