Biographical/Historical Note

Dorothy Grotz (1906-1995) was a painter in New York City, New York. She studied in Berlin and at Columbia University. She was married to photographer Paul Grotz (1902-1990).

Dorothy Grotz donated her papers to the Archives of American Art in 1976.
