Biographical/Historical Note
Dorothy Lampham Ferriss (1887-1975) was an illustrator in New York City, New York. She studied with Robert Henri and married architectural illustrator Hugh Ferriss. Ferriss's drawings were often featured in Vanity Fair , and The Golden Book .
Provenance
Jean F. Leich, Ferriss's daughter, donated the papers to the Archives of American Art in 1980.
