Professional files consist of Rubin's employment records as curator for the Contemporary Arts Center in New Orleans and the Phoenix Art Museum; as director of the Freedman Gallery at Albright College, San Francisco Art Institute, and Santa Monica College Art Gallery; and as associate director/chief curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Cleveland, then known as the Cleveland Center for Contemporary Art. Other files include one floppy disk, meeting minutes, correspondence, written proposals, and other material that documents Rubin's consultant and committee work, participation in symposiums, professional education work, teaching, and projects.
