Summary: Rich expresses his pleasure at having met Jannis and Zoe Spyropoulous in Athens, Greece and describes the painting by Jannis that he purchased for the Worcester Art Museum.
Museum administrator and lecturer; died 1976. Rich held many positions at the Art Institute of Chicago and was director of the Worcester (Mass.) Art Museum, 1958-1970. Emily Nathan was a public relations consultant, and also worked for the Archives of American Art.
Donated 1977 by Daniel Catton Rich.
