Biographical/Historical Note
Cynthia Navaretta (1923-2020) was an arts advocate and publisher in New York City, New York. A founding member of the Women in the Arts foundation and the Women Artists Newsletter , she was active in many arts organizations. Along with her husband, painter Emanual Navaretta, she was a colleague and friend of many of The Club artists of the 1950s and 1960s.
