Summary: The Carin Drechsler-Marx "Soho" exhibition records, 1976-1978, measure 0.4 linear feet, and document the preparation for and reception of the exhibition, "SoHo Downtown Manhattan" (Sept. 5-Oct. 17, 1976), at the Akademie der Kunst in Berlin, Germany. The records include commission contract with Rene Block for photo documentation of SoHo, correspondence and exhibition printed materials in German, newspaper press clippings, note and hand-drawn SoHo map with artists' studios, and photographs, slides, and negatives Drechsler-Marx took of SoHo galleries, artists' lofts, and general SoHo streets.
