Biographical/Historical Note
Benna Miller was a dance teacher in Ventura, California who worked part time for Ventura Cable Company. Miller became interested in Richmond Barthe after viewing one of his sculptures and produced a video about him for the cable station.

The Benna Miller video interviews with Richmond Barthe was donated in 2019 by Benna Miller, as part of the Archives' African American Collecting Initiative funded by the Henry Luce Foundation.
