Summary: The papers of painter and ceramicist Anton Blazek date from 1933 to 1957. A dismantled mixed-media scrapbook concerns Blazek's career from his time with the Federal Art Project and Federal Theatre Project, Works Progress Administration to the late 1950s. Found are scattered letters; photographs of Blazek and his family and of works of art and exhibitions; and printed materials. Also found are collected catalogs for exhibitions in California during the 1930s-1940s, in which Blazek was not represented.
