Jervis McEntee Diaries: August 5, 1884

Tuesday, Aug 5, 1884 I went down to Ned Tomkins' this morning and got the strawberry plants which I set out. I have about 250 plants now out of the "Agriculturist" and one or two other varieties. It rained a little after I set them out and has been grey and misty all day. Nothing has occurred in the Turck matter as yet.
