Jervis McEntee Diaries: May 10, 1872

Our people spent the day at Ned Tomkins. I did not go down until tea time. Burhans put up our entrance gate and to my horror I found I had made an error in the drawing and got it too low. However we put it up and are going to try it. If we do not like it it will be taken down and altered.
