Jervis McEntee Diary Entry, June 24, 1890, from the Jervis McEntee papers, 1850-1905, in the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution

Tuesday, June 24, 1890 A warm, close day. Mr. & Mrs. Reid called. Sara went to Kingston to see another servant she heard of and she has promised to come Sunday afternoon. Meanwhile [Minnie?] will get our dinners for us. We attended Mrs. Knapps funeral at 4 o'clock, the weather was very hot. I wrote to Mary.
