Jervis McEntee Diary Entry, February 18, 1886, from the Jervis McEntee papers, 1850-1905, in the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution
Thursday, Feb 18, 1886 To the dentists who has at last finished all he was to do. Came to my studio and have worked most of the day on the two pictures Reichard sent to me. Fuller called and seemed pleased with what I have done to his picture. A man from a Philadelphia house called with a card from Lambdin to talk with me about some new process for reproducing oil pictures. He would like to do the one I have sold to Auchincloss to show me some of the work in a week or two.
