Tuesday, Aug 12, 1884 Left by morning train for Shokan. Boices team was ready to take me to W. S. Fullers on the Rondout at Sundown. Stopped at Wards cabin at the lake. Mrs. Wentworth, Mrs Dimock and two other ladies were there. Ward and the other gentleman went to N. Y. the day before. Arrived at Fullers at 1.30. Some fishermen there for dinner, among them Mr. Geo. Hope a friend of Vanderlip.
