Jervis McEntee Diaries

Sunday December 10, 1882

Jervis McEntee Diary Entry, December 10, 1882, from the Jervis McEntee papers, 1850-1905, in the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution

Sunday, Dec 10, 1882 Bowyer and I walked over to the tunnel on the West Shore road and along the line to the new station in Kingston. It snowed a little last night and I got my feet very wet. Park was delighted to see Bowyer and knew him in a moment and showed the greatest joy last night in seeing him. The wintry landscape is charming and I want to stay here to walk about and make notes. My father is very feeble.
