Monday, June 24, 1874- Bowyer was to sail for England today in a sailing vessel. Received a letter from Haven Putnam and a package of books. Sent him two specimen drawings and some inquiries about size and shape of drawings. Painted a little picture for Coy Kendall from a brook sketch in Stony Clove.
