Jervis McEntee Diary Entry, Wednesday, February 25, 1874, from the Jervis McEntee papers, 1850-1905, in the Archives of American Art, Smithsonian Institution

Wednesday, Feb 25, 1874- Gertrude and I wrote to Maurice and sent it today. It commenced snowing and has snowed violently all day. Vaux came in to see me for awhile in the afternoon. Havent done much today except sort out some of my European letters and papers preparatory to making a scrap book. I have not felt well today having had a dull headache over my eyes which has troubled me a great deal lately.
