Archives of American Art 2013 Benefit

The Archives annually sets aside one evening to honor the unique contributions of significant artists, collectors, dealers, historians, and philanthropists in the American art world. Your participation in this event offers critical support for the Archives’ mission while recognizing the accomplishments of our remarkable honorees.

2013 Benefit: Save the Date October 22

On Tuesday, October 22, 2013, the Archives will present the Archives of American Art Medal to Alice Walton and James Turrell at our annual Benefit. That same evening, art historian Richard J. Powell will be presented with the Lawrence A. Fleischman Award for Scholarly Excellence in the Field of American Art History.

The 2013 Benefit will be held at 583 Park Avenue in New York City. Joyce F. Menschel is the Chair of the 2013 Benefit, with honorary Co-Chairs Mr. and Mrs. Eli Broad, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard A. Manoogian. We hope you will have the opportunity to be with us.
