8 loose sketches on cardboard and paper are ink and watercolor drawings including two Valentines and several cartoon figure sketches. The sketchbook, entitled "Away to Quebec," documents landscapes and city scapes seen in Canada between 1934 and 1937. These sketches are done in ink, pastel, and watercolor.
