Pastel, ink, and paint sketches include abstract forms and figures related to sculpture and collage works. Many sketches reflect mathematical themes, such as graphs, grids, order systems, and probability. Other subjects include geometrical diagrams, texture studies, and surreal landscape and portraiture.
Also included is a "Standard Diary" for the year 1892 that includes some brief daily notes, as well as sketches in black ink and also some in color. The diary has contacts of Bouras as well as his personal information.
