An interview of Juan Menchaca conducted by Sylvia Loomis for the Archives of American Art New Deal and the Arts Project. Menchaca discusses painting portraits and making dioramas about the history of Colorado for the State Museum in Denver as part of the Works Progress Administration, Federal Art Project, ca. 1936-1941; his work as a camouflage instructor during WWII; and helping to establish the Denver field office of the Government Printing Office.
