Dear Sir,
          Anxious to avail ourselves of your present visit to our City and of your eminence as an artist, I am  authorized by many subscribers, members of the Institution, to request that you will take for the gallery of the National Institution the portrait of the President of the United Sates and of the Honorable Mr.   of the Senate. .. will  please to ... on these Gentleman..arrange with them, about time and place of sitting
