This exhibition focuses on the Abstract Expressionist movement after World War II. Of particular interest is art critic Clement Greenberg, who helped establish the role of abstract expressionism during this time. Correspondence between Greenberg and artist Clyfford Still from the Archives of American Art are featured in the exhibit.
This exhibition will travel to the Saint louis Museum of Art and the Albright-Knox Art Gallery in Buffalo, New York.
