Collection Summary: Audio visual material, biographical material, correspondence, project files, photographs, and printed material documenting William Lundberg's career as a video installation artist.
A majority of the collection (6.0 linear feet) consists of audio visual material including VHS cassettes, 8 and 16 mm reels, Super 8 cartridges, and DVDs with source moving images used in Lundberg's installations. Also included are biographical material containing curriculum vitaes, autobiographical essays and artists statements; correspondence with galleries and museums concerning Lundberg's grants, fellowships and the execution of his installations; project files relating to Lundberg's installations; photographs (slides) of Lundberg's installations, Lundberg directing a shoot, and the performers who appeared in his films and videos; printed material, including exhibition catalogs, announcements, and clippings related to Lundberg's career as well as the career of Lundberg's wife, Brazilian artist Regina Vater.
