Biographical/Historical Note: Illustrator, painter; Brookline, Mass. His westward expedition of 1866 was the basis for illustrations from 1866-1896 which appeared in Leslie's, Harper's, and Scribner's.

Microfilmed 1984 along with other selected art related papers from the Gilcrease Institute.
