REEL 1401: Biographical documents; correspondence, 1919-1971, about Griffin; lists of paintings; a notebook about art; clippings and magazine articles; photographs depict Griffin and his artwork, his father Edward, Seyki Kouroda and portraits of Griffin by Denis Bunker and Paul Bartlett.

Biographical/Historical Note: Painter, dentist; Born Portland, Maine. Lived in New York and from 1887-1915 he lived chiefly near Nice, France.
