Biographical/Historical Note: Art gallery, University of Minnesota. Founded 1934 as the Little Gallery with Hudson Walker as its part-time curator; renamed University Gallery in 1935 and University Art Museum in 1983. Ruth Lawrence was curator and then director, 1934-1957.
