Collection Summary: Pen, pencil and ink sketches of sculpture by Oliva found in two small sketchbooks and on loose paper, some also including handwritten poetry; a certificate of naturalization, July 3, 1986; a marriage certificate, 1969; a chronology compiled by Juan Espinosa Almodovar, 1993; color photographs of works of art; and printed material regarding the artists' group Los Once, including reviews of exhibitions, and a catalog of a reunion exhibition of three of the original members, Hugo Consuergra, Guido Llinas, and Oliva, 1993.
Biographical/Historical Note: Painter; Havana, Cuba and Miami, Fla. Born 1930 in Havana, Cuba. Oliva was a founding member of the artists' collaborative group Los Once in Havana, Cuba.
