REELS 3292-3294: Correspondence with Peter Hurd, Francis V. Biographical/Historical Note: Sculptor, painter and art instructor; Taos, New Mexico. Born in New York City. Moved to Taos in 1950. As a sculptor he works chiefly with welded medals, synthetics, wood and stone. He paints in oil. Taught painting and sculpture at the Kansas City Art Institute, University of Wyoming, University of Illinois and Northern Iowa University.
