Identification on verso (typewritten and partially obscured): ART FOR FILM FANS' SAKE....Ivan LeLorraine Albright (right), ? America's "only living old master," assisted by his twin, Melvin ? painted portraits used in Metro-Goldwyn-Mayer's screen version of the Oscar Wilde classic "The Picture of Dorian Gray." In the story, the "picture" ages while the subject, Dorian Gray (portrayed by Hurd Hatfield) finds himself unable to grow older despite his ? dissipation. Others cast in the filmization of the novel are George SAnders, Donna Reed, Angela Landsbury, Lowell Gilmore and Peter Lawford. Albert Lewin directed, and Pandro S. Berman produced.
