A majority of the collection (4.0 linear feet) includes performance pieces by Kushner and others at the Paula Cooper Gallery, Holly Solomon Gallery, The Kitchen, and other venues on 42 videocassettes (16 U-matic, 1 DVCam, 10 VHS, 6 Beta), 17 videotape reels, 1 motion picture film (16-mm), and 4 sound reels, circa 1970s-2000s. Also included are inventories of Kushner's video archive, documentation of editing, tape restoration, and copying, 1988-2002.
Subject files concern critic Amy Goldin (1926-1978), Kushner's former teacher and close friend.
