Collection Summary: Awards and diplomas, 1878-1884; a naturalization document, 1892; 2 photographs of Zschaebitz and his family; and 121 photographs, 1980-1981, of Zschaebitz's works in oil, watercolor, pencil and pastel. Included is a list describing each photograph, compiled by Roberta H. Butler, who was researching Zschaebitz's work.

Biographical/Historical Note: Painter. Born in Germany. Came to U.S. about 1884.

Donated 1981-1984 by Karen Harvey and Ronnie Haught, Zschaebitz's great-granddaughters, and by Roberta H. Butler.
