Included are letters from museums, galleries, and organizations, such as NCECA (National Council on Eduation for the Ceramic Arts), Friends of Clay, and the Decorative Arts Council of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art; records regarding his teaching appointments at Chouinard Art Institute, Los Angeles, 1960-1972, including correspondence, contracts, course schedules, and printed material; photographs of Bacerra with Beatrice Wood and with Vivika and Otto Heino; photographs of works of art; illustrated diary of his cross-country trip with Vivika Heino from Los Angeles to New Hampshire and back, the summer of 1959, with entries concerning various universities, pottery shops, and visits with Maija Grotell, Daniel Rhodes, and Val Cushing; 18 pencil and ink drawings of Hamada by Bacerra; a bound final report for the Craft Today USA, European Tour, 1989-1993, organized by the American Craft Museum; photographs of Bacerra at Chouinard; photographs of Bacerras work in the windows of Henri Bendel, 712 Fifth Avenue, New York; photographs of Bacerra with students at Otis Art Institute, Los Angeles, 1988-1989; exhibition announcements and catalogues; clippings and other printed material; and miscellany.
