Collection Summary: Photographs of plaster cast reproductions of statuary and bas reliefs produced by the firm, 1890s to 1960s; several hundred glass negatives of photographs of casts; a few catalogs and advertisements for casts offered; and several folders of miscellaneous correspondence.
Biographical/Historical Note: Casting firm, Boston, Mass. Pietro P. Caproni and his brother were craftsmen specializing in cast renderings of classical and other statuary.
The donor, Lino Giust, was a subsequent owner of P.P. Caproni and Brother.
