Collection Summary: Six videotapes produced by Cathey Edwards Productions for the exhibition "The Eloquent Object" curated by Marcia and Tom Manhart at The Philbrook Museum of Art, September, 1987 (and extended on its subsequent tour 1988-1989). Each tape explores themes examined in the six galleries of the exhibition and contain interviews with artists, quotations, and news footage. "The Eloquent Object," explored the phenomenon of an American craft aesthetic in a cultural context and particularily the influence of expanded educational opportunities and new technologies.
