Summary: This microfilmed scrapbook contains photographs of Paul and Alberta Babcock and their work; reproductions of paintings; and printed material.
Paul G. Babcock (1905-1976) was a painter, muralist, and mosaic artist in California. He was known for mosaic murals, portraits, still-life and desert scenes. During the depression he was employed on the Federal Art Project and created murals for public projects with his wife Alberta von Ottenfeld.
Lent for microfilming 1965 by Mr. and Mrs. Paul Babcock.
The Archives of American Art also holds the oral history interview with Paul and Alberta von Ottenfeld Babcock, 1965 May 1.
